At Springboard Tutoring, I believe every learner deserves the right support to leap forward. I will unlock potential, build confidence, and empower children and adults to achieve academic success and a lifelong love of learning.
Led by an outstanding UK-qualified teacher (QTS) with 20+ years of leadership experience, I provide tailored tutoring of English (including phonics), Maths and Science that helps primary-aged children achieve and exceed their academic targets. I specialise in supporting English as an Additional Language, Early Years, SEN, and neurodiverse learners. I use evidence-based assessments, including GL Assessments, CAT4, Phonics Screeners, Progress Tests, SATs (Y2 & Y6), and 11+, to guide learning effectively. Additional expertise: TEFL tutoring for children, teenagers, and adults (120-hour TEFL certified)
I find immense joy in helping students find their voice and springboard academically, building confidence and achieving measurable progress. I design fun, interactive lessons that are personalised, supportive, and progressive, breaking learning into manageable, bite-sized steps to keep students engaged. I challenge each student to be their best, while creating a relaxed and welcoming environment where learning and growth flourish.
Tutoring sessions can be booked in advance via email at springboardtutor@gmail.com, by phone, or through our booking system. Sessions are confirmed once payment has been received.
Payment is required upfront for each block of sessions. I accept payment via bank transfer, card, or PayPal. Fees are non-refundable for sessions cancelled on the same day. Sessions cancelled with at least 24 hours’ notice are eligible for a 50% refund or can be rescheduled at a convenient time. Pricing details will be shared during our introductory phone call or email, so we can tailor the sessions to your child’s needs.
My tutoring sessions are interactive, personalised, and focused on helping your child make real progress. I welcome any information from parents or guardians about your child’s learning needs, and to provide the tools to learn. To make the most of each session, I ask that students arrive on time so they can enjoy the full session.
Sessions will be held via Google Meet, and I’ll send a calendar invite to the email address you provide. I kindly ask that parents ensure their child has a suitable device and a reliable internet connection so we can make the most of our time together. While I do my best to provide a smooth online experience, I’m unable to take responsibility for technical issues beyond my control.
I take the privacy of my students very seriously. Any personal information shared with me will be kept strictly confidential and used only to support your child’s learning. I provide progress reports to parents or guardians as agreed, so you can stay informed about your child’s development.
While I am committed to helping students learn and grow, outcomes may vary depending on each child’s engagement and effort. My aim is to provide a supportive, encouraging environment where every student has the opportunity to make meaningful progress.
Either party may end tutoring sessions with written notice. If a block of sessions has been paid for in advance, I kindly ask for ample notice to discuss any possible reimbursement or rescheduling. Sessions that have already been delivered are non-refundable. This approach ensures fairness and allows me to accommodate other students.
I may occasionally update these terms and conditions to ensure the best experience for my students. Parents and guardians will always be notified in writing of any significant changes.
